Analytical support
The production of active pharmaceutical ingredients and fine chemicals is continuously supported and controlled by Quality Control Service.
Each and every step of the synthetic routes is submitted to analytical control which involves testing of starting materials and intermediates, and in-process controls, thus providing high quality products with completely reproducible characteristics. The final products are thoroughly controlled in order to verify that all the requirements of specifications (Pharmacopoeia or in-house specifications) are fulfilled.
These results are achieved thanks to fully validated analytical procedures, which involve the handling of advanced GC and HPLC techniques, UV, automatic titration instruments and all the analytical equipment needed for a complete certification of chemical quality.
Thanks to the continuous cooperation and exchange of information with the nearby "Dipartimento di Chimica Industriale" (Industrial Chemistry Department) of the University of Milan our technical staff is allowed to be always "up-to-date" even with more sophisticated or unusual analytical techniques.
